In the 80s the former Local Museum in Frauenstein, the renaissance palace,was turned into a special "Gottfried-Silbermann-Museum". At the palace's foyer one can see documentation about Gottfried Silbermann�s life's work with the aid of large photos of all still existing organs.
The large number of originals � of great value � thatmakes the work of Gottfried Silbermann accessible to the visitor, makes this museum so important.
